View from Above

Located between the northern base of El Castillo and the Sacred Cenote, this temple was dedicated to the worship of the planet Venus, a common deity among the Maya and reflected in many cities such as Uxmal.

It is similar in style and design to the Platform of the Jaguars and the Eagles, a short, flat structure with stairs on all four sides leading to an upper platform.
